Our Story
Nagaland Me was founded by Aloto Naga, an Indian journalist and digital media entrepreneur from Nagaland. Born on 14 January 1994 and based in Dimapur, Aloto began his career in regional journalism and digital reporting, working on platforms focused on local news and community information at a time when very little digital infrastructure existed for Nagaland.
Over the years, what started as a single news channel grew into something much larger. Aloto Naga TV, his YouTube channel, crossed 500,000 subscribers while delivering news and public information in the Nagamese language. Nagaland News Today became one of the state’s trusted independent news publications. And the idea for Nagaland Me a parent company that could house multiple platforms each serving a different need took shape.
Today, Nagaland Me operates six platforms and continues to grow. Every platform is built with the same values: accuracy, accessibility, transparency, and genuine service to the people of Nagaland.
Why We Exist
Nagaland is a state with a rich culture, resilient people, and enormous potential. But for too long, that story has been told incompletely or not told at all. Languages are at risk of being lost. Corruption goes unreported. Professionals and businesses have no digital presence. Citizens lack access to reliable, local information.
Nagaland Me exists to change that one platform at a time.
